Bayern - 48 Exchange students gathered from around the world to discuss the issues of youth crime for one week. We visited several sites around Bayern including a jail

District Conference - This is a meet everybody looks forward to as it gives the exchange students a chance to meet up with each other and to catch up on all the gossip.

Expo Tour - Rotary has organized for each district a tour of Hannover and the Expo as well as Berlin. This was great fun. This tour went of six days.

Summer Camp - This summer camp went for 10 days in which Rotary was invited to along with other school students from Israel, Poland, Russia, Holland and France. We visited many sites around Ostfreisland

Aachen - 56 Rotary exchange students were invited down to Aachen for 3 days where we looked after students from Japan. The places we visited were Aachen, Belgium and Holland.

World Youth Week 2000 - I was lucky enough to be selected to go to Rome by my Catholic Parish in Australia and attend the International World Youth Week for the Catholic Jubilee. There we celebrated mass with the Pope and various other Pilgrimages with 2.2 Million young people.

York - Three exchange students were lucky enough to go to York and the surrounding North England Country side, including a visit to the famous city of Leeds.
